Chevrolet Equinox LS vs. LT: Overview

• Pricing: The 2022 Chevrolet Equinox LS is priced at $25,800 MSRP. You can upgrade to the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox LT for a price of $26,900 MSRP. The previously-available 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine has been discontinued for 2022.

• Engine Options: The Equinox LS & LT are now only available with the ultra-efficient 175-hp 1.5L turbocharged I4, which gets up to 26 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Check out the 2022 Equinox mpg ratings to learn more.

• Capability: Both of these Equinox trims seat five, and naturally offer the same amount of cargo space. Both trims also tow up to 1,500 pounds.

• Standard Features: Jumping from the L to the LS won’t get you many more standard features, but it will unlock a few additional options. However, from there it’s just a small step up to the LT, which includes many of those options as standard. 

Chevrolet Equinox LS vs. LT: Standard Features 

The LS and LT offer very similar standard features, but the LT has more options available. Both enjoy more available colors than the Equinox L. The Convenience Package is optional on the LS, while the Equinox LT adds these standard features:

• Power-adjustable driver’s seat
• Satellite radio

The LT also provides optional access to the Comfort & Convenience Package, and the Infotainment Package.
